Introducing WPMU gMapsA recent turn in events has led to the development of a truly unique Wordpress MU theme. The turn of events was a paying client who specifically requested a Google Map based Wordpress MU theme and who was willing to pay a reduced cost for developing this customised theme in order for us to release it here at a special-rate to our community. The theme can be seen here - http://klews.net/maps/ - and here - http://wpmupremium.com/mark/ - in all its glory… Check-out the “more options” and “deep zoom” functionality that’s present within the header of each post and page throughout the site. Just for kicks, look how smooth the roll-over effects are when moving your mouse from “ABOUT” to “HOME” – it’s these kinds of added features that act as the icing on the proverbial cake, for the true power comes from an auto-resizing full-screen map that can be customised in every way imaginable for each post and page used throughout the entire network of blogs that this beast can conjure-up! WPMU gMaps comes with the following cool features:
This theme is only available via an exclusive offer that was suggested to us by those behind the KL News Network (http://klews.net/). the guys are also running a customised version (with hand-crafted mapping and video widgets) of our up-coming WPMU Portlet theme on their homepage, so their feedback regarding our themes and development work in general is very important to us… They suggested to us that we exclusively provide Unlimited Developer Licenses for a one-time fee of US$ 99, with 25% of the return going back to KLews to help towards the costs for reaching their goals of creating an online portal as good as Yahoo’s, but specifically for Kuala Lumpur… That’s right… On top of that, we also thought it would be good for us to be as equally giving and throw-in a 3 month subscription package to our up-coming VIP club for all those who buy this exclusive theme, which is made exclusive by not being available from within the up-coming VIP club or available to anyone once the club opens, as per the suggestions of those that commissioned us to develop the theme in the first place… We are presently working behind the scenes not only to put the finishing touches on the theme, but to also get our own e-Commerce services set-up. We will be sending out another update very shortly, once our online payment features are completed. If you want to be the first to get your hands on this exclusive theme and cannot handle anticipation very well, you could always send the PayPal payment direct (rather than via a pretty online front-end version of the same thing) and we’ll email you the ZIP files, but for those of a more cautious nature, watch this space for more information… Or contact us via our online form in order to let us know what you think about the theme or life in general if you’re that desperate to talk to a team of creative Wordpress developers with a somewhat cherry outlook on life… Thanks again to everyone who wrote back to us after the last post titled “The Status of WPMU Premium” with your support and business, it’s much appreciated and we only hope that we can continue to serve you with future long-term partnerships in the same way we are with KLews – thanks again guys and girls! For those who are not already subscribed to our RSS feed, we strongly recommend you jump on board and get yourself a feed reader, for life without them really is hard-work… For those that do not know, we also provide useful tips, hacks and reviews of free themes and plug-ins for both Wordpress and WP MU over at The Newsroom (http://wpmupremium.com/news/), the feeds for with are as follows: The Newsroom showcases the WPMU Portlet theme, which we will be supporting via our up-coming VIP club.
